The orange Bobby Clarke hockey blade; then came the mylec air flow. That black hard as cement hockey puck didn't tickle.

Cam York is no Bob Wilkie.

Watching Wisconsin last year and then again last night, I don’t see why people were so upset about not picking Cole Caufield.

When Wyatt Kalynuk left do yo get any sense he lead the flyers on at all? On the surface seems they could have at least traded his rights at some point.

Anyone out there in Flyers land got a picture of Pelle with the Flyers logo on his mask. All my years I've not come across that but would love to see it.

He kind of held out the possibility that he'd sign here after all until nearly the end. But it never felt like it would happen.

Did they even explore trading his rights do you know? Do you think he will be an everyday nhl dman at some point?

Not sure if there are any avid Boxing fans on here but why was there never a mayweather Crawford fight ? Is Crawford a couple weight classes up? There’s discussion of him and Manny fighting though.

What’s the return on someone’s rights like that? A pick in the last couple rounds? Vesey was much more highly touted and Nashville got a third I want to say.

It's a lack in anyone who claims to be a Flyers fan to not understand what Clarke meant to the team and the Philadelphia region.
Monumental comes to my mind.
He helped formulate the entire ethos of the organization that we have enjoyed.
Villany, heroics, discipline, persistence, dedication, bonding and desire.
It all was propelled by Snyder who lucked into much and worked for everything else.
His luckiest moment was drafting the diabetic kid from Flin Flon. Nobody knew what he was or what would ensue for the team and the town.
Thanks Bob.
You made me care about a sport that had NOTHING to do with our traditions because you cared.

I don’t think much, if anything. Can make your pitch when he’s a free agent. Especially with how weird this offseason was

Also can’t blame the kid. Looking at our roster and prospects I’d imagine he has some work to be considered. Blackhawks made some changes to their d but their system isn’t as deep.

Yea it is what it is, that’s my view. Wasn’t much to be had, flyers has zero leverage, everyone knew that.

Yea. We have others to balance out and this kind of thing happens to every team. We have had some good luck recently signing the two who weren’t drafted.

Seems like every year there is talk of the college free agents and the one from Europe that everyone wants.

Speaking of rights and all. Fedotov was a raw talent and a long shot when drafted. He has progressed the last two years rather nicely. Does anyone know how long we retain his rights?

There's also Jack St. Ivany at Yale. Probably in the Friedman category, but he's got good size 6'3'' 200 lbs and 16 points in 32 games last season isn't too bad either.

You are missing Hogberg and Wylie and some other possibles...I’m sure Bill has a list somewhere.

Peter Dikk what are you basing it on saying Ginning has a decent chance of playing one day?

A pick even if a 7th rounder is better than no pick one would think.

Forgot about Wylie...he has a decent chance of playing someday. David Bernhardt is also over in Sweden with Hogberg.
